Traditional Highland Produce Meets
New Nordic cooking
A fresh catch from the sea nearby. Ripe game brought in by our stalkers. Dairy products made by hand and heart from the local farms. Wildland's sourdough bread coming out of the oven welcomes you with its tasty smell to the breakfast table every morning.
The Lundies kitchen is in a sense the "heart of the house". It's where a new day begins with a homemade bespoke breakfast and it is probably where you end it with a hot drink for the bed to tuck you in for the night. The kitchen is where stories are told while making tasty dishes. Sharing recipes and tricks from our experienced chefs.
The kitchen is as functional as it is warm and inviting. It is custom made by the company Plain English whom we have chosen because of excellent craftsmanship and an eye for the small details.
Stepping into the Lundies dining room, you will be greeted by an exceptional piece of art. A wall painting by the French artist Claire Basler whose talent is the most beautiful big scale nature paintings. We have invited Claire to bring a slice of the surrounding nature into the house. Because of the size of her paintings and the almost photographic replica of plants and grasses it gives a 3D experience in combination with the interior of the dining room.
Imagine yourself enjoying your mornings in these surroundings with warm sunlight streaming in through the windows.
The smell of freshly baked bread. Sipping a hot pot of coffee or your favourite tea while waking up and thinking about the day ahead.
